"MY STORY”

The Sweet Pea Shop’s goal is to help make purchasing preloved clothing a lot more convenient and a lot more affordable. 

My name is Dallas. I’ve lived in Port Hope for 23 years. I love this community and I am enjoying raising my two children here. My goal has been to own my own business within my community for quite some time, and I could never really target what I wanted to do. I just knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Once I had my daughter, I knew exactly what I needed to do - start a niche children’s consignment store for my community.

Yes, there is Facebook Marketplace, but who wants to drive all over Northumberland to get clothing? Plus, you always have to buy in bulk and never get to see each individual item. I wanted something better than that. 

Here’s where The Sweet Pea Shop comes in! 

I’m so fortunate to have the ability to start this business. I want to ensure families get to obtain clothing at an affordable price, and not have to drive all over to get it. I also love that we can minimize our waste in landfills by re-selling and re-using.
